Phil Jackson cussed out Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg during 2008 Finals
Matt Damon and Mark Wahlberg found themselves on Phil Jackson's bad side during the 2008 NBA Finals.
As Damon explained on a recent episode of "The Bill Simmons Podcast," he and Wahlberg were celebrating the Boston Celtics completing a comeback against the Los Angeles Lakers at the Staples Center when then-head coach Phil Jackson lost it on the actors.
"... Wahlberg and I are like 'Oh my God!' and as (Jackson) calls the timeout, he just spins on us and he goes, 'Sit down and shut the f--- up!'" Damon said. "He was so mad - which I get."
