Detroit Pistons forward Blake Griffin admits he would've loved the opportunity to star in the long-awaited "Space Jam" sequel.
On the latest episode of "Sneaker Shopping" with host Joe La Puma, Griffin was asked how it felt to hear Michael Jordan endorse him for the leading role in "Space Jam 2" back in 2016.
"It was pretty cool, I got to be honest. Watching that movie growing up, it's cool to get his seal of approval," Griffin said, later adding that he "would've loved to have a crack at it."
Griffin also spoke about the sneakers he was supposed to wear in the 2011 NBA Slam Dunk contest and winning a bet against Jordan before dropping $1,855 on two new pairs of shoes.
