Minshew files to trademark 'Minshew Mania,' 'Mississippi Mustache'

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew is looking to profit from "Minshew Mania."
Minshew filed applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on Nov. 21 to trademark the phrases "Minshew Magic," "Minshew Mania," and "Mississippi Mustache," according to Garry Smits of the Florida Times-Union. The applications note that Minshew intends to use the phrases on a variety of apparel items, including hoodies, baby clothing, socks, and wristbands.
The Flowood, Mississippi, native has appeared in 11 games for the Jaguars this season, completing 61.5% of his passes for 2,594 yards with 15 touchdowns and five interceptions.
