LaVar relaunches Big Baller Brand in Australia
Big Baller Brand is back in business.
The brand held a pop-up shop over the weekend in Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia, where LaMelo Ball plays for the Illawarra Hawks of the National Basketball League.
LaVar Ball explained during a recent interview with The Daily Telegraph why he decided to relaunch the brand in Australia.
"Usually, we would go and start this off in L.A. somewhere, but I said, 'You know what? Let's start changing. Let's go out to the Land Down Under, Australia, and start,'" he said. "We're the first ones to relaunch this triple-B brand and guess what? This is the best place to do it."
Big Baller Brand's online store has been offline since April and now redirects to the personal website of the Ball family's former business partner, Alan Foster. LaVar released a statement in October saying he was working on a new website and products, though it's unclear if his sons will be involved with the relaunch.
