Eagles superfan Monty G diagnosed with COVID-19, placed on ventilator
Philadelphia Eagles superfan Monty G, known as the "Babay Babay" hype man, has been hospitalized after contracting COVID-19.
Friends of Monty told WPVI-TV he has spent the last three weeks on a ventilator at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital. A GoFundMe page set up to help with Monty's expenses states that he was placed in a medically induced coma after being diagnosed with the coronavirus, but is now awake.
As of Friday morning, the GoFundMe campaign has raised more than $8,000.

Monty went viral in 2018 following his emotional reaction to the Eagles' loss to the Dallas Cowboys. He's also a big supporter of the Philadelphia 76ers and Philadelphia Flyers.
