Magic Johnson reveals documentary series is being made about him
Magic Johnson is getting his own documentary series.
The Los Angeles Lakers legend revealed in an interview with Kevin Frazier of Entertainment Tonight that a series is in the works about his life on and off the court.
"You get the basketball part of it, but then also how I reinvented myself and how I went into business and what I'm doing today, so it will all come into this documentary," Johnson said. "I'm looking forward to it."
Johnson also confirmed reports that a documentary chronicling Kobe Bryant's final NBA season is coming.
"That's definitely going to happen," he said. "I think he was smart enough to have a camera follow him, document every movement ... so we are going to see a lot of behind-the-scenes things on Kobe and probably let us into his world with his family."
Johnson played 13 seasons with the Lakers, during which he won five championships. He later served as the franchise's president of basketball operations for two years.
