Bordeleau is an incredibly skilled center with promising offensive upside. The Houston native is best known for his playmaking and has led the USNTDP in assists and points in his under-17 and under-18 seasons. He may not be the biggest body, but the stocky forward has a knack for evading defenders and protecting the puck.

Bordeleau also comes from a strong hockey bloodline, with his father Sebastien, current development coach for the Nashville Predators, playing 251 NHL games throughout the '90s. The 18-year-old has committed to the University of Michigan for the 2020-21 campaign.

What they're saying

"Bordeleau is a high-end playmaker and the puck ran through him on the NTDP power play. He has the patience to let plays develop and find teammates through seams. He also has a very good shot, showing a hard wrist shot that can beat goalies from a distance if the passing lanes are covered. Bordeleau has a high skill level and controls pucks very well, although I’d like to see him attack defensemen more with his skill," said The Athletic's Cory Pronman.

"The commitment to get inside on people when he has the puck and when they have the puck. That's a part of his game that has grown tremendously, especially in the (age) 18 year. He has the mind and the stick skills and the vision to be an elite offensive player," former NTDP head coach Seth Appert told NHL.com.
