With the 28th pick in the 2020 MLB Draft, the New York Yankees selected Austin Wells, a catcher out of Arizona.
It's the second time the Yankees have taken Wells, as they made him a 35th-round selection in 2018.
The backstop, who may wind up transitioning to a different position, has drawn comparisons to Kyle Schwarber due to his power stroke.
