Tiger docuseries coming to HBO, could air around Masters
In addition to the Masters being rescheduled to November, golf fans have something else to look forward to in the fall.
During an interview on the "Burst Your Bubble" podcast, author Armen Keteyian revealed that "Tiger Woods" - the New York Times best-seller he co-wrote with fellow author Jeff Benedict in 2018 - is being produced into a docuseries that will air on HBO.
"I can tell you that it's scheduled to come out in the fall," Keteyian said. "Don't be surprised if it airs right around the Masters in November. If you're HBO, that's the smartest and best place to do it."
Keteyian added that many figures in Tiger's life make an appearance in the documentary, including some that declined an interview for his book.
"I can tell you this, I've seen it now several times, including this morning when I just watched the final two hours. It's a fabulous job," Keteyian added.
The docuseries will consist of two episodes that are two hours long each.
