With the 40th pick in the 2020 MLB Draft, the Miami Marlins selected Daxton Fulton, a left-hander out of Mustang High School in Oklahoma.
Fulton was arguably the top-rated prep lefty in the class before undergoing Tommy John surgery last September.
Fulton marks the second pick for the Marlins so far in the draft, following their selection of right-hander Max Meyer No. 3 overall.
