With the 27th pick of the 2020 MLB Draft, the Minnesota Twins selected Aaron Sabato, a first baseman out of the University of North Carolina.
Were it not for generational slugger Spencer Torkelson, Sabato would likely possess the best raw power of any college bat in this class. He's more than the poor man's Torkelson, though. The draft-eligible sophomore hadn't even fully developed when he led UNC in each triple-slash category last year, posting better numbers than 2019 first-round selection Michael Busch.
