With the 36th pick in the 2020 MLB Draft, the Cleveland Indians selected Tanner Burns, a right-handed pitcher out of Auburn.
Burns tied the school record for strikeouts in a game after collecting 15 in a shutout against Cincinnati in March 2019. The righty is just one of six Tigers players to record 15 punchouts in a game, including last year's first overall pick, Casey Mize.
