Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk is looking slightly worse for wear after injuring his fingers this past weekend.
The 52-year-old wrote in an Instagram post that he was skating in an empty pool when he fell, and suddenly found himself on the flat bottom with his "fingers bending in new directions." He went to the emergency room, where doctors put his fingers back in place.
On Wednesday, Hawk shared the X-rays from his hospital visit, revealing that his wedding ring needed to be cut off before his fingers could be put back into the proper position.
It doesn't sound like the gnarly injury will keep Hawk off his skateboard for long, though.
