With the 136th pick in the 2020 MLB Draft, the Toronto Blue Jays selected Zach Britton, a junior outfielder out of the University of Louisville.
Britton - who is not to be confused with the New York Yankees reliever Zack Britton - started all 17 games for the Cardinals before the cancelation of the 2020 NCAA season. He led all Division I hitters with 11 doubles in the abbreviated campaign after slugging five homers in 28 games in the Cape Cod League last summer.
Primarily an outfielder, Britton also has some experience catching and playing first base.
