MLB sent Rob Lowe a league logo hat days after he wore NFL version
Rob Lowe became the butt of many jokes in January after he showed up to the NFC Championship Game between the San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers wearing a generic NFL logo hat.
The actor got in on the fun too, jokingly responding to the viral moment as his "Parks and Reaction" character Chris Traeger.
”I LITERALLY love football! And teams. Every one of them! They are all wonderful! Go teams!”

Lowe was asked about the hat during an appearance on the "Talkin' Baseball" podcast Tuesday and shared that Major League Baseball sent him a generic hat soon after.
"Literally within 48 hours of wearing that hat, the MLB sent me their version of it," Lowe said around the 22:30 mark. "I have it in my closet.”
Lowe went with a different hat for "Talkin' Baseball," sporting a modified Houston Astros cap with an asterisk as a reference to the club's cheating scandal.
