Isiah Thomas has stolen All-Star MVP trophy returned
Detroit Pistons legend Isiah Thomas has been reunited with his 1984 NBA All-Star Game MVP trophy.
The trophy was set to be auctioned off by Heritage Auctions this month but was pulled after Thomas revealed it had been stolen from his Illinois high school. The award has since been returned to Thomas, who shared the news Friday on Twitter.

Several of Thomas' items were stolen from a trophy case at St. Joseph High School in Westchester, Illinois in recent years, according to Heritage Auctions. A police investigation into the thefts is ongoing.
"It came as a shock to discover the MVP trophy had been stolen from St. Joseph," Chris Ivy, Heritage's director of Sports Auctions, said in a statement. "But we are pleased and proud to have been able to return the trophy to the man whose name is inscribed on the award."
