Philadelphia 76ers head coach Doc Rivers is adding Dave Joerger to his staff as an assistant coach, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The 46-year-old recently interviewed for the Indiana Pacers' vacant head coach position.
Joerger joins a coaching staff featuring assistant coaches Ime Udoka and John Bryant, plus senior advisor Jim O'Brien, according to the 76ers' staff directory. All three holdovers served under the 76ers' previous head coach, Brett Brown.
Joerger is a former coach of the Memphis Grizzlies (2013-16) and Sacramento Kings (2016-19), amassing a 245-247 (.498) record.
