Former Bulls security guard's 6 championship rings sell for over $255K

A set of six Chicago Bulls championship rings were auctioned off Thursday for a combined $255,840, according to Chris Bumbaca of USA Today.
The rings originally belonged to longtime Bulls security guard John Capps, who worked for the team from 1966 until his death in 2018. He also appeared in "The Last Dance" documentary series that premiered earlier this year.
Capps' estate put the rings up for auction through Huggins & Scott Auctions, with the bidding opening at $5,000 apiece.
