Rory-DJ-Cantlay trio headline Masters groups for first 2 rounds
The Masters released groups and tee times for Rounds 1 and 2 on Tuesday, with the trio of Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson, and Patrick Cantlay headlining the tee sheet.
The set of top-10 ranked players in the world will begin their weeks at Augusta on Thursday at noon ET.
Defending champion Tiger Woods is grouped with reigning Open Championship winner Shane Lowry and 2019 U.S. Amateur winner Andy Ogletree. Their first round begins at 7:55 a.m.
Louis Oosthuizen will join Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm, two tournament favorites, for the first two rounds. Brooks Koepka, Justin Thomas, and Matthew Fitzpatrick make up another notable group.
In a measure to adjust to the limited daylight in Augusta, Ga. during November, groups will tee off on the first and 10th holes.
