The Washington Football Team turned to the 1994 classic sports movie "Little Giants" for inspiration during their 41-16 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday.
In the first half of the game, Washington ran a trick play many on Twitter recognized as a variation of "The Annexation of Puerto Rico" from "Little Giants."
Washington head coach Ron Rivera confirmed in his post-game press conference that "Little Giants" was indeed the inspiration behind the play and said he's seen the movie over 100 times.
It's also not the first time Rivera has run the play.
Washington improved to 4-7 on the season with Thursday's victory.
