George Foreman offers to train Nate Robinson
George Foreman wants to help redeem former NBA guard Nate Robinson in the boxing ring following his brutal knockout by YouTuber Jake Paul.
The two-time world heavyweight champion told TMZ Sports he'd be willing to train Robinson for a possible rematch against Paul and is confident he could put him in a position to win.
"I can turn him into a five-, six-round fighter in no time flat," Foreman said. "Make him do what I say and he could give a best showing. He may not want to box again, but I wouldn't want him to leave without doing a better show than he put on. You don't wanna go on like that."
Robinson, 36, was knocked out in the second round of his bout with Paul, who has now set his sights on MMA star Conor McGregor. Robinson hasn't said whether he intends to fight again but Foreman hopes to see him give boxing another shot.
"No one should go out of boxing on that kind of show," Foreman said. "He needs to try once more and I could show him a few little tricks, and before you know it, he'd be proud of himself."
