USC commit Ceyair Wright: LeBron was 'great mentor' on 'Space Jam' set
One of USC's newest football commits will be appearing alongside LeBron James in "Space Jam: A New Legacy" next summer.
Four-star cornerback Ceyair Wright, who announced his decision to join the Trojans on Saturday during the "All-American Bowl Declaration Show," will play the role of James' son in the movie. Wright spoke highly of the Los Angeles Lakers star.
"It was great," Wright said Saturday of his experience filming "Space Jam," according to Austin Nivison of 247Sports. "He's a super great mentor to me. He taught me a lot of great things, for sure. I had a great time. I was super blessed to be there. I met some great people there. It was really fun. I can't wait to see it."

Wright's desire to pursue an acting career factored into his decision to stay in his hometown of Los Angeles.
"Acting is something I've been doing for a long time, and I feel like L.A. is the best place to do it," he said. "Staying home is the move for me."
"Space Jam: A New Legacy" is scheduled to be released July 16, 2021.
