Twitter map shows Chiefs, Packers have most playoff rooting interest

The Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers have the most fan support across the United States heading into the wild-card round of the playoffs, according to new Twitter data.

The map below, created by Sportsbetting.ag, shows the Chiefs and Packers both have nine states rooting for them. The data is based on geotagged Twitter data gathered since Sunday evening - over 120,000 tweets - tracking official fan hashtags in each state.

The second-most popular teams were the Buffalo Bills and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the latter of whom garnered some support in New England with the Patriots out of the playoffs.
