Report: Giants targeting Bradley, Rosario for outfield
The San Francisco Giants have spent much of the offseason beefing up pitching and are now turning their attention to the outfield.
San Francisco is eyeing free agents Jackie Bradley Jr. and Eddie Rosario as potential targets, reports the San Francisco Chronicle's Susan Slusser.
The Giants are the latest team interested in Bradley after he produced a career-high .364 on-base percentage and .814 OPS (118 OPS+) for the Boston Red Sox in 2020.
The Red Sox, Philadelphia Phillies, and Houston Astros have also been connected to the longtime center fielder, who won a Gold Glove in 2018 and has 53 defensive runs saved throughout his eight-year career.
Meanwhile, Rosario hasn't drawn the same kind of attention after being non-tendered by the Minnesota Twins in December.
Along with the Giants, the Red Sox have reportedly shown interest in the powerful 29-year-old, who belted 119 homers in six seasons with the Twins.
San Francisco projects to use a starting outfield for 2021 of Mike Yastrzemski, Alex Dickerson, and Mauricio Dubon.
