Seattle mayor warns New Orleans mayor to keep eyes off Wilson
Seattle's mayor isn't too pleased about her counterpart in New Orleans joining in on the recruitment of Russell Wilson.
After Wilson's agent named the Saints as a possible trade destination, New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell, tweeted a message to the Seattle Seahawks quarterback and his wife, Ciara, letting them know the city would welcome them "with open arms."
I have been hearing the rumors on the streets. 👀 I don't know if they are true or not. But, I just want @dangerusswilson & @ciara to know that if these rumors are true. Please know that the City of New Orleans will welcome you and your family with open arms! #nola #whodat pic.twitter.com/yE1MJYssLS

Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan is determined to keep Wilson in her city, though.
I love you Mayor, but keep your eyes off @DangeRussWilson. His home is Seattle. #GoHawks

And so you know, Seattle is in the market for a @NBA team. Don't make me go there. https://t.co/degqE61pJJ
For now, it appears Durkan won't have to worry about losing Wilson. His agent, Mark Rodgers, insisted Wilson wants to remain in Seattle, but if a trade were to happen, he would only want to go to the Saints, Dallas Cowboys, Las Vegas Raiders, or Chicago Bears.
