Mahomes' daughter receives letter of intent from Texas Tech

Patrick Mahomes' daughter is just a few weeks old and already received her first national letter of intent.

Mahomes fiancee, Brittany Matthews, posted a photo on her Instagram story Monday showing a letter of intent the couple received from Texas Tech for their daughter, Sterling Skye Mahomes, whom the couple welcomed on Feb. 20.

"This is to certify that Sterling Skye Mahomes student-athlete will be recommended by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at Texas Tech University to receive a soccer scholarship," the letter reads.

Mahomes played at Texas Tech from 2014 to 2016 before being selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Matthews was a star soccer player at the University of Texas at Tyler.
