Disney's Giannis Antetokounmpo biopic has found its star.
Uche Agada will portray a young version of the Milwaukee Bucks forward in "Greek Freak," which marks the actor's onscreen debut, according to Variety. He auditioned for the role after Antetokounmpo announced an open casting call for the movie on Twitter.
Yetide Badaki, who had roles in the television series "American Gods" and "This Is Us," has been cast as Antetokounmpo's mother, Vera. Dayo Okeniyi, star of "The Hunger Games" and "Terminator Genisys," will play his father, Charles.
The movie is based on the true life story of Antetokounmpo and his family. Production is slated to get underway later this year in Greece and the United States.
