Kamara launching Kamara's King Crunch cereal
Alvin Kamara is getting his own cereal.
The New Orleans Saints running back is launching a honey-oat bunch cereal called Kamara's King Crunch that will be available online and in select stores across Louisiana in the fall, according to WDSU. A portion of the proceeds will support the Children's Bureau of New Orleans, which aims to help children and families enhance and strengthen their mental health and wellness.
"I'm very excited about creating my own cereal box," Kamara said. "I get to live out a childhood dream and help support the incredible work that the Children's Bureau of New Orleans is doing to bring mental wellness resources to kids and families in the city."
The cereal box will pay homage to New Orleans and the French Quarter and include facts about Kamara.
Kamara is coming off a career year that saw him rush for 932 yards and 16 touchdowns on 187 carries while adding 83 receptions for 756 yards and another five scores.
