Shumpert becomes 1st NBA player to reach 'Dancing with the Stars' finale
Iman Shumpert made "Dancing with the Stars" history Monday night by becoming the first NBA player to advance to the show's finale.
The 2016 NBA champion and partner Daniella Karagach scored 37 out of 40 for their tango dance and 38 out of 40 for their performance to Kanye West's "Dark Fantasy" during the show's semifinals.

Shumpert, who last played for the Brooklyn Nets during the 2020-21 season, will look to become the 12th athlete to hoist the Mirror Ball trophy. He'll be competing against YouTube personality JoJo Siwa, talk show host Amanda Kloots, and Peloton instructor Cody Rigsby on next week's finale.
Other former NBA players who have competed on "Dancing with the Stars" include Clyde Drexler, Rick Fox, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Lamar Odom, and Charles Oakley.
