Washington Capitals defenseman Dmitry Orlov will sit two games for kneeing Winnipeg Jets forward Nikolaj Ehlers during Tuesday's contest.
Orlov delivered a knee-on-knee hit late in the third period. The incident didn't result in a penalty.
Jets interim head coach Dave Lowry said Ehlers will miss at least the remaining three games of the team's road trip, according to the Winnipeg Free Press' Mike McIntyre.
Ehlers has 13 goals and 12 assists in 34 games this season. Orlov has 19 points in 38 contests.
