'Pacman' Jones doesn't want Steelers fans jumping on Bengals bandwagon
Former Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones has a message for any Pittsburgh Steelers fans planning to cheer on their AFC North rivals in Super Bowl LVI.
"We don't want none of the Pittsburgh fans jumping on the bandwagon," Jones told 93.7 The Fan's Andrew Fillipponi and Dorin Dickerson on Monday.
However, Jones said that he likely would've rooted for the Steelers had they advanced to the AFC Championship Game instead of the Bengals.
"If it would've been vice versa, the Steelers playing against Kansas City, I think we probably would root for the Steelers because that's our division," Jones said, adding, "if your division is going to the championship every time, that says something strong about your division."
Jones spent eight seasons with the Bengals from 2010-17, during which he helped Cincinnati reach the playoffs five times. He retired from the NFL in 2019.
