Von Miller: 'I'll always be a Denver Bronco forever'
Von Miller may be a member of the Los Angeles Rams, but his heart is still in Denver.
Speaking to reporters Monday ahead of Super Bowl LVI, Miller expressed gratitude toward Denver Broncos fans for continuing to support him following his trade to the Rams in November.
"To still have support from the city is amazing," Miller said. "You know, I didn't want to leave. It wasn't me that wanted to leave, I got traded. If it was up to me, I'd still be in Denver trying to figure it out, man. That's just how I am, that's just how I'm built.
"It feels good for the city to really understand that and for them to know that this wasn't my choice. I always wanted to be a Denver Bronco forever, and I'll always be a Denver Bronco forever. I'm just here working in L.A. right now."
The Broncos selected Miller with the No. 2 overall pick of the 2011 NFL Draft. He's slated to become a free agent this offseason.
