LeBron's Super Bowl LVI commercial gets meme treatment
This year's slate of Super Bowl commercials leaned heavily on nostalgia and cryptocurrency, and one ad starring LeBron James combined both of these subjects.
In the Crypto.com spot, the Los Angeles Lakers star travels back to 2003 and sits down with a younger, CGI-version of himself to talk about the future. Young LeBron, played by 20-year-old actor Bentley Green, learns the future has cordless headphones, the ability to watch movies on your phone, and electric cars.
Fans wasted no time turning the ad into a meme, theorizing what else present-day LeBron would tell his younger self.

LeBron should’ve told his younger self to work on some damn free throws. pic.twitter.com/2QIdZO2YUZ
