Curry to have sprained foot re-evaluated in two weeks
Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is out for at least two weeks after spraining a ligament in his left foot, the team announced on Friday.
Curry will have the injury re-evaluated in two weeks, according to the Warriors.
Golden State is optimistic the All-Star can return for the start of the playoffs in April, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and Ramona Shelburne.
Curry suffered the injury Wednesday when Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart crashed into his leg while diving for a loose ball.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr confronted Smart shortly after he sent Curry limping to the locker room.

Smart downplayed the discussion with Kerr, saying the pair teamed up in the past with USA Basketball and 'he knows I would never try to hurt anyone," according to Spotrac's Keith Smith.
Kerr said he thought it was a "dangerous play" by Smart, per The Athletic's Anthony Slater.
The Warriors' Big Three of Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson have played just one complete game together since 2019.
