Villarreal vs. Bayern Munich lineups: Davies returns
Madrid, April 6, 2022 (AFP) - Alphonso Davies returned to the Bayern Munich starting line-up for Wednesday's first leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Villarreal.
Davies is making his first appearance since December, with Lucas Hernandez shifting back into Bayern's central defence.
Robert Lewandowski, who has 12 goals in this season's competition, starts up front.
For Villarreal, Unai Emery went with the more defensive pick of Francis Coquelin in midfield, alongside Dani Parejo and Etienne Capoue.
Giovani Lo Celso was chosen to support Arnaut Danjuma and Gerard Moreno up front.
