Dallas Cowboys
Grade: C
After two consecutive years of exciting draft additions, this stands as a fairly underwhelming haul for the Cowboys. Smith's potential is sky-high due to his physical gifts, but he may need some time to develop. The Williams pick felt like a reach in the second round, and it doesn't come without risk. Tolbert, a dynamic receiver who was flying under the radar coming out of South Alabama, is the most interesting pick. He should immediately take on a key role in replacing Amari Cooper alongside CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup.
New York Giants
Grade: B+
There's a lot of volume here, which certainly can't hurt given the state of the Giants' roster, but the success of this group will be determined by the pair of top-10 picks. And it's tough not to be impressed with the premium talent added in the trenches early on. Thibodeaux finally gives New York a potential star pass-rusher, and Neal was widely considered the best offensive tackle in this class. That alone is enough for a strong grade, though we would have liked to see better value picks on Day 2.
Philadelphia Eagles
Grade: A
Philly had an incredible draft weekend. Davis is a unique defensive tackle who single-handedly shuts down the running game and has the kind of freakish athleticism to provide with some pass-rush upside. The Eagles' second first-round pick was traded to the Titans for A.J. Brown, a star talent at a major position of need, and they essentially got that value back when they scooped up Dean, a potential Day 1 pick, in the third round. And don't forget about Jurgens, who could start at guard before eventually taking over for Jason Kelce at center. This is how you run a draft, folks.
Washington Commanders
Grade: B-
Adding Dotson to a receiving corps that already features Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel gives Washington a dynamic trio of pass-catchers. And if Carson Wentz struggles, getting Howell at the top of the fifth round could prove to be one of the steals of this draft. Mathis and Robinson should be valuable role players, but it's tough not to wonder if they could have used their Day 2 picks to improve the secondary and offensive line. Those spots still stand out as potential problem areas for Washington heading into next season.
