Nick Young recalls Arenas shooting him with BB gun during Wizards meeting
There's no shortage of wild stories involving Gilbert Arenas, particularly from his time with the Washington Wizards.
Arenas' former Wizards teammate Nick Young recently shared one of those stories in an interview with VladTV, recounting how Arenas shot him with a BB gun during a meeting about gun awareness.
"We had a paintball fight at his house. I went over there just to hang out, and he ended up shooting me with paintball guns. I'm like, 'I'mma get you back,'" Young said. "My dumbass ended up bringing the BB gun to the gym just to scare him, just to play around with him. But it was a gun, (so we had) an NBA gun rule meeting.
"So, I'm in the meeting, and Gil go into my locker room, take my gun, come into the guns meeting, shoot me with my gun in front of everybody while they're talking about gun rules and stuff. Shoot me with the BB gun; nobody said nothing."
Arenas was involved in a much more publicized locker-room incident in 2009 when he and then-Wizards teammate Javaris Crittenton drew guns on each other during an argument over gambling debts. Both players were suspended for the remainder of the 2009-10 season as a result.
