Giannis Antetokounmpo believes changes to his pre-game diet are the reason behind his strong start this season.

While speaking to reporters Thursday, the Milwaukee Bucks star attributed his success to eating more fruit like peaches and bananas.

"I've been eating a lot of fruits before the game," Antetokounmpo said. "I'm not gonna lie, I'm a big routine guy ... a peach before the game gives me a lot of energy. It makes me feel good. After my pre-game shooting, I eat a banana. I haven't done that before. So, I eat a peach and a banana, and I think it allows me to play better."

Through seven games this season, Antetokounmpo is averaging 33.6 points - second-most in the league behind Luka Doncic - along with 12.7 rebounds and 5.0 assists. He has also led the Bucks to a league-best 7-0 record.
