Thomas calls out Jordan: 'This beef is gonna go on for a long, long time'
The feud between Isiah Thomas and Michael Jordan is still going strong.
During an interview with COSMOTE TV last month, Thomas said his beef with Jordan will continue until the Chicago Bulls legend apologizes for comments made in "The Last Dance" documentary.
"When I was watching 'The Last Dance,' I'm sitting there, and I'm watching it with my family, and I'm thinking everything is good. And then this guy comes on television, and he says that he hates me, and then he calls me an asshole," Thomas said, according to Eurohoops.
"And then I proceed to watch a whole documentary about him being an asshole. I'm like, wait a minute, timeout. Until I get a public apology, this beef is gonna go on for a long, long time 'cause I'm from the west side of Chicago."
Jordan referred to Thomas as an "asshole" while discussing the Detroit Pistons' refusal to shake hands after being swept by the Bulls in the 1991 Eastern Conference finals.
The Bulls went on to defeat the Los Angeles Lakers in the Finals that year, capturing the franchise's first-ever NBA championship and the first of six for Jordan.
