Report: Morant set to receive signature shoe with Nike

Ja Morant is reportedly the latest NBA player to land a signature sneaker deal with Nike.

The Memphis Grizzlies star is "in line" to receive a signature Nike shoe in the near future, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic, adding that the parties have been working on the deal for several months.

News of Morant's deal comes after a Nike spokesperson confirmed Monday that the company has permanently ended its relationship with Kyrie Irving.

Sole Retriever's Nicholas Vlahos previously reported that Morant's signature will be known as the Nike Ja 1 and is expected to debut in two colorways in spring 2023.

Morant signed a multi-year endorsement deal with Nike in 2019.
