Source: Titans to start Joshua Dobbs on TNF
The Tennessee Titans will start quarterback Joshua Dobbs on Thursday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys, a source told Jordan Schultz, theScore's NFL insider.
Dobbs was signed off the Detroit Lions' practice squad last week. He will make his first career NFL start.
The Titans will hold out rookie quarterback Malik Willis and a slew of other starters against the Cowboys. They'll face the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 18 in a game that is already guaranteed to determine the AFC South winner.
Willis is filling in for Ryan Tannehill, who was placed on injured reserve with an ankle issue Thursday. The rookie signal-caller has started three games this season, throwing for 276 yards with zero touchdowns and three interceptions.
Dobbs has appeared in six games going back to 2018, completing 10 passes for 45 yards and one interception.
