Report: Patriots inquired about Hopkins, Jeudy
The New England Patriots have made calls about star wide receivers DeAndre Hopkins and Jerry Jeudy, sources told The Athletic's Jeff Howe.
New England has been proactive in its attempts to add a top wideout this offseason, also attending free-agent wideout Odell Beckham Jr.'s workout last week, Howe reports. While the club remains in the market for a top receiver, price point remains a key component.
The club signed wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster to a deal on Wednesday, according to Jordan Schultz, theScore's NFL Insider.
The Denver Broncos are seeking at least a first-round pick in a possible trade for Jeudy, per Howe. Jeudy, 23, posted career highs with 67 receptions, 972 yards, and six touchdowns. A deal to New England would reunite Jeudy with fellow Alabama alum Mac Jones.
There has been speculation that the Arizona Cardinals are considering moving the three-time All-Pro Hopkins after three seasons. He recorded 717 yards and three touchdowns in nine games during the 2022 season.
The Patriots' receiving corps is set to have a different look after leading receiver Jakobi Meyers signed with the Las Vegas Raiders during the league's negotiation window.
DeVante Parker, Kendrick Bourne, and Tyquan Thornton currently headline New England's receiving group.
