Blue Jays searching for winner of $2.9M 50/50 draw

The Toronto Blue Jays are trying to track down a lucky fan who won nearly $3 million through a recent 50/50 raffle.

The Jays Care Foundation, the Blue Jays' charitable arm, announced the winning ticket number Monday for its "Amazing April" 50/50 jackpot, which totaled $2.87 million. The winning ticket - No. 2051048083 - was purchased at Rogers Centre on April 11 during the Blue Jays' 9-3 win over the Detroit Tigers.

The winner has yet to come forward but is urged to contact the Jays Care Foundation to claim their prize.
