Miami (OH)'s Ajay Allen: Continuing career in Coral Gables

Allen announced Monday via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to Miami (Fla.), joining the program as a transfer from Nebraska.

Analysis:

The 5-foot-11, 182-pound running back is moving on to Coral Gables following one season with the Cornhuskers. As a true freshman in 2022, Allen appeared in five games, carrying 33 times for 190 yards and two scores while adding a nine-yard reception before succumbing to a season-ending collarbone injury. He should be fully healthy heading into the 2023 campaign and should challenge incumbent Henry Parrish for the top spot on the depth chart.
