Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams is closer to the end of his NFL career than the beginning, and he isn't prepared to accept another lost season in Las Vegas.

"I don't act like it's all crazy - it's Week 3 - but I don't got time to wait around," Adams said following the Raiders' 23-18 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night. "It's not a personal thing - I mean, it is a personal thing - but it ain't just about me."

He added: "We're not doing things the right way to establish a winning culture early in the season."

The Raiders fell to 1-2 after losing their home opener, which came a week after a 38-10 drubbing at the hands of the Buffalo Bills.

While Las Vegas' offense failed to score more than 20 points for the third time in three weeks, the 30-year-old Adams continued to be one of the team's lone bright spots. He caught 13 passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns against the Steelers.

Adams starred in his first season with the Raiders in 2022, racking up 100 catches for 1,516 yards and an NFL-high 14 touchdowns.

With close friend Derek Carr released in the offseason, there was speculation about Adams' future in Las Vegas. But Adams said in May that he was happy to be with the Raiders.

"I'm a Raider and I'm excited to be here," he said. "I love my head coach, and I love the general manager. ... I have no reason to lie. One thing I don't do is BS."

The Raiders will go back on the road to face the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4.
