Mark Cuban tells Taylor Swift to break up with Kelce for Mavs player
Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is looking to play matchmaker for Taylor Swift after seeing her take the NFL world by storm this week.
Cuban shared his thoughts on Swift's budding romance with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce during an appearance on ESPN's "First Take" on Thursday, jokingly suggesting that the pop star date a Mavs player instead.
"She impacts economies when she brings her tour to a city," Cuban said. "She's literally the most popular artist on the planet right now, not even close. So what I'm going to tell you: Taylor, if you're listening - sorry, Travis - break up with him. I got a bunch of good-looking, single guys that play for the Dallas Mavericks. I got you, I got you."
Swift was in attendance for the Chiefs' win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday and was later seen leaving the stadium with Kelce. Her appearance led to a nearly 400% spike in sales of Kelce's jersey and helped draw 24.3 million viewers to the Chiefs-Bears game, making it the most-watched NFL contest of the weekend.
Swift is also expected to attend this Sunday's game between the Chiefs and the New York Jets, according to Michael McCarthy of Front Office Sports.
