Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett suffered a knee injury during Sunday's 30-6 loss to the Houston Texans.

Pickett was sacked awkwardly in the third quarter and immediately grabbed his left knee. He was briefly down on the field before limping off with assistance from trainers.

Pickett will undergo an MRI to determine the extent of his injury, according to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Mitchell Trubisky finished out the game following Pickett's injury, completing 3 of 5 passes for 18 yards.

Pickett struggled prior to the injury, leading the Steelers to only two field goals while throwing for just 114 yards and one interception on 23 attempts.

Entering Week 4, the sophomore signal-caller had completed 59.6% of his passes for 689 yards and four touchdowns against three interceptions.

Trubisky was the Steelers' starter entering 2022 before Pickett took over near midseason. The veteran finished the campaign with 1,252 yards and four scores against five picks in seven appearances (five starts).
