Francis Ngannou is upset with the judges of his fight against Tyson Fury after they determined he lost the bout despite knocking down the heavyweight champion of the world during a 10-round split decision in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday.

"This boxing world (is) wild but some judges should be responsible for their actions. This type of stuff is what f---s up people's career," the 37-year-old wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The fight was ruled a 94-95, 96-93, 95-94 decision in favor of Fury, despite "The Gypsy King" hitting the mat in the third round after "The Predator" caught him with a surprising left hook.

Judges Alan Krebs (95-94) and Juan Carlos Pelayo (96-93) scored the fight in favour of Fury, while Ed Garner (95-94) gave the victory to Ngannou.

Fury recovered to win the fight and later called Ngannou "probably one of my toughest fights in the last 10 years."

Ngannou expanded on the judging in an interview with ESPN's Brett Okamoto, saying he and Fury both know who should've gotten his hand raised.

"If he's being honest, he would say I won that fight," Ngannou said. "I won that fight. There's not a question about it.

"Even before getting here, I knew - I knew if this fight gets to a decision, I'm not winning. Not because I didn't do good - because I'm the new guy in the house. I come here and I just want to kick in two people's business. ... It is what it is. I do my job. I know that I did everything that I could've done. I did my best."
