LeBron James sees some similarities between his Los Angeles Lakers and the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers through the early part of their season.

Following the Lakers' 120-101 loss to the Orlando Magic on Saturday, James likened their offensive woes to those of the Steelers.

"We're like the Pittsburgh Steelers right now, you know what that means?" James told reporters, per Spectrum SportsNet. "The Pittsburgh Steelers right now have not outgained or outscored any of their opponents in the season right now, and yet they got a winning record."

The Steelers are averaging just 16.6 points per game this season, the third-worst mark in the NFL, and their 278.5 yards per game is the fourth-worst average in the league. Despite that, they're 5-3 and are the first team in NFL history to post a winning record after being outgained in each of their first eight games, according to Elias Sports Bureau.

The Lakers, meanwhile, are 3-3 on the season and rank 17th in the NBA with an average of 111.8 points per game.
