Lue tossed after Plumlee foul sparks fracas vs. Warriors
Los Angeles Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue was ejected in the fourth quarter Wednesday against the Golden State Warriors for picking up his second technical foul during a brief altercation between both teams.
Tensions erupted when Clippers center Mason Plumlee appeared frustrated by not getting a foul call and responded with a hard foul on Warriors rookie Brandin Podziemski. That drew a crowd involving both teams around the Clippers' bench.

Plumlee was assessed a flagrant 1 for the foul, though referees appeared to disagree with Lue's defense of his center and handed him a second tech, ejecting him from the contest at the 9:36 mark.

Lue picked up his first technical less than a minute prior after taking exception with an earlier swipe by Draymond Green on Plumlee and pleading his case to the officials.

Lue's ejection seemed to spur the Clippers, however; they rallied late without their head coach to defeat Golden State 130-125.
